I spend a great deal of time educating patients on how their bodies work, or could work, it's actually one of the principles of Naturopathic Medicine. Not all of us need courses in anatomy or biochemistry but understanding the basics of how your body functions normally, and recognizing when something isn't right, should be standard knowledge.
I cannot tell you now many times I've heard, "Why didn't anyone ever tell me that??"
We are no longer outsourcing our health to an authority figure. Certainly there are times when we need help and guidance, but the day-to-day normal (or ideally optimal) aspects of health are within our reach.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I find it difficult to cover every topic within a 1:1 appointment, especially with respect for the beautiful synergy of our systems. There is a level of understanding that I wish everyone had access to from the beginning. First, you need to recognize the function of the organs and systems that make up our health. Then, appreciate that health is something we build and nourish... everyday. There also needs to be consideration for the humanity of our well-being, how our mindset and emotions influence our health. For these reasons, I've created the Dragonfly Method.

How it works
Upon sign-up you will be directed to a payment page. Once you have successfully joined the Dragonfly Method program, check your email Inbox. You will be sent a link with your log-in details and a temporary password. The content will be continually changing and expanding, and you will have access for the next 6 months so that you can learn at your own pace, or go back and absorb even more information.
There will be weekly online Q&As for the duration of the 8 weeks if you would like to seek clarity & support as well. Links will be provided on the website.

- Each module will take you through the basic structure and function, relevant testing and assessments, the connection of the physical with the emotions and energetics of imbalances, and possibilities for support.
- There are 8 sessions posted weekly for you to watch on your own schedule, plus live Q&As to connect and answer your questions. Additional supportive materials will be available as well on the private website.
- 1:1 appointments are personalized to your symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, and ideal for building out your individual health strategy
- Individual appointments are not the most efficient way to discuss wellness basics, but they are fantastic for implementing your care plan
- There is a degree of vulnerability within a one to one appointment that not everyone is ready for. This program allows you to become informed and engaged with your health without feeling as exposed.
- The equivalent amount of time spent with me one on one would be over $2000
- Of course, you can still work with me personally as well at any time
- It's amazing to see how much change comes from shifting your mindset and understanding around health, and also putting the power back into your own hands. I'm finding more and more people are feeling disempowered and dismissed in their health care interactions. They are looking to be engaged and involved in their journey.
- Through over a decade of experience, I know which pieces of information people are missing from their health education, where the lightbulb moments occur, and what creates the most sustainable change and momentum.
- Each of the 8 sessions are approximately 1 hour. I know attention spans and time can be limited, which I why I opted for recorded videos that you can watch at your own convenience on the private members site for the next 6 months (but ideally you will get the most out of it by following along week by week). The Q&As will be up to an hour long as well, these will be held on Zoom. Additional materials will also be available, but you can review these at your own pace too.
- The first session will be available March 26th, and you will have access to the program for 6 months.
- Due to the nature of the program, there will be no refunds.
- Support will be there to help you along the way, or personalized care is available through 1:1 appointments. (If you reside outside of Ontario, then you will be referred to another practitioner.)
- As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario for over a decade, I've learned a few things about creating and sustaining wellness. I'm proud to say that I've grown alongside my patients, and worked hard to create a lifestyle that supports my well-being, as well as my patients' health too. As a busy mom, I can relate to the common challenges of modern day life. I worked towards healing my own chronic acne, post viral issues, gut problems, and mood, and learned a lot along the way. It's an honour to be invited to facilitate health in other people as well. I don't know your body better than you do, but I know why it might be trying to get your attention.
