Hey there, I'm Dr. Christa Reed Kruger, Naturopathic Doctor and founder of the Orangeville Naturopathic Health Clinic.  I've developed this 14 Day Winter Wellness Detox for you, because I believe that good health starts with a solid foundation.  Through cleaning up your meals, I would love to help you shift the way you think about food and also change your health from the inside out.  My clinical experience has shown that a food-based detox can dramatically help you to accomplish these goals.

​This approach is not another diet.  This is a whole foods lifestyle to address the foundations of your health.

What is the difference between a diet and a detox jumpstart?

In a diet, you find yourself trying to count every calorie you eat, which understandably causes you to become frustrated and give up. At the end of the day, you find yourself hungry and lethargic.  Most diets are about restriction, and some even create harmful relationships with food because of feeling of deprived.
This 14-Day Wellness program isn’t about starving your body, fasting, juicing, eating strange food combinations, or taking lots of supplements.  While some of those techniques have their own unique place, it is not what we are trying to achieve in this case.  My hope for you is to build a healthy foundation of foods that serve your body with the nutrients it needs to thrive, while reducing the foods that are causing inflammation, extra weight, energy crashes and digestive upset.

I created this Winter Wake-up Detox for several reasons:

  1. Life gets in the way of a healthy and nutritional lifestyle. While we might be motivated when we begin, it’s easy to fall back into old habits.
  2. Even though I believe in simple and gentle cleanses, detoxing can be tough to do on your own. This program is designed to give you the support you need as you go through the process.
  3. Having gone through several detox programs, I often found I had questions along the way and wished I had a coach I could go to for direction or tips.
  4. I want you to learn from the mistakes I have made during the detoxes I have done in the past.  I also want to share systems I have developed to simplify the process. Why should you have to reinvent the wheel?
